Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. In the following, we explain which of your data we collect and use for which purpose: Every time a user accesses an Internet page of our website and every time a file is retrieved, data about this process is stored in a log file. These files are not personal, so we cannot trace which user has requested which data. In detail, the following data record is stored for each retrieval: - Name of the retrieved file - Date and time of the retrieval - Amount of data transferred - Message as to whether the retrieval was successful. Personal user profiles are not created. It is not possible to draw conclusions about your person. Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us in order to optimise our Internet presence and the technology behind it. It is not passed on to third parties.

We treat personal data provided by the user when visiting our website as confidential. If the user sends us an electronic message (e-mail) and/or fills in the online forms on our website and sends them to us electronically, we store and process the data and information provided there in accordance with the respective purpose intended by the user or accepted by us, e.g. for sending the requested documents or information or for checking the application documents sent. This personal data will not be passed on to third parties outside the Group. However, as a precautionary measure, we would like to point out that when transmitting your data via the Internet, there is a possibility that it may be accessed or changed by unauthorised persons. The user declares his/her consent to the aforementioned storage and use of the aforementioned data as well as the use of cookies. If you have any further questions about data protection in connection with this website or the data stored about you, or if you wish to object to the use of your data by us, you can contact us via the contact page.

Google reCAPTCHA
In order to ensure sufficient data security when submitting forms, we use the reCAPTCHA service of Google Inc. in certain cases. reCAPTCHA is primarily used to distinguish whether the input is made by a natural person or improperly by machine and automated processing. The service includes sending the IP address and, if applicable, further data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. The deviating data protection regulations of Google Inc. apply here. Further information on the data protection guidelines of Google Inc. can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

Deletion or blocking of data
We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as stipulated by the various storage periods provided for by law. After the respective purpose has ceased to exist or these periods have expired, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

Right to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection
You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored by us at any time. You also have the right to have your personal data corrected, blocked or, apart from the mandatory data storage for business processing, deleted. To ensure that a blocking of data can be taken into account at any time, these data must be kept in a blocking file for control purposes. You can also request the deletion of data, unless there is a legal archiving obligation. Insofar as such an obligation exists, we will block your data upon request.
You can make changes or withdraw consent by notifying us accordingly with effect for the future.

Third party services:

Google Maps / YouTube / Facebook
We use Google Maps for embedding maps, as well as YouTube for embedding videos or other social media plugins (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). The services of the American Google LLC use cookies, among other things, and data is transferred to Google in the USA, although we assume that no personal tracking takes place in this context. Google has undertaken to ensure adequate data protection in accordance with the American-European and the American-Swiss Privacy Shield. Further information on this can be found in the detailed privacy policy of Google or Facebook.

We use a chat system from Freshworks on our website. Freshworks ensures compliance with global regulations and industry practices to protect customer privacy and data. All Freshworks products are designed to comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) so that all compliance obligations can be met.

Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics without personal reference (anonymised IP), a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. In addition, you can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link. The current link is https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Use of script libraries
In order to display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or prevents access, content is displayed in a standard font.
Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible - although it is currently unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes - that the operators of such libraries collect data.
The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Change to our privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend this data protection declaration from time to time so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection statement will then apply to your next visit.
